I’ve known Seb as a coach for a long time. I hit a point where I was mentally struggling and needed some direction. I contacted Seb wanting to get back to the fittest I could be and to focus on improving my stand up/striking. I think a big aspect of being a coach is someone who just doesn’t have the knowledge but also knows how to get the best out of you and how to coach you as an individual, For me this is where Seb stands out, he has got me into incredible shape where I felt the fittest I’ve been in a long time and my body transformed with it!
Technically in my stand up I went from thinking I could throw punches and kicks (which looking back to where I started was shocking) to feeling sharp, powerful and seeing the improvements week on week! With Seb I managed to get my body fat down to around 6-8%, developed my muscle definition and built amazing strength through the weights and power work he designed. I absolutely love training with Seb and couldn’t recommend this guy enough! The proof is in what he gets out of people and I completely transformed in my fitness, body shape and mental health!

Seb has a great enjoyment and interest in what he does along with a great knowledge of fitness training and nutrition. He can design a program for whatever kind of training you want to do and will train with you for any event you want to enter. He has helped me with both weight loss and improved cardio and strength training. Seb’s sessions involve a wide and varied range of exercises from boxing to free weights. This keeps training strenuous and invigorating along with massively increasing your own knowledge of fitness training. I would thoroughly recommend personal training with Seb whatever your fitness goals are.

I’ve achieved loads with Seb. I’ve lost the best part of 20 kilograms and about 7 or 8 inches off my waist whilst also slimming down all over. This means that I’ve had to get a whole new wardrobe but there’s worse problems to have I suppose! I’ve also gained loads more confidence, he’s taught me how to safely lift free weights and before training with Seb I’d never even put a boxing glove on. Now I’ve learnt a load of boxing and self defence techniques. You used to have to drag me to even step foot in a gym before. Seb’s completely changed my outlook on exercise.

One thing to know is Seb is an unbelievable trainer, even when you’re at your lowest point he drives you through. I could never have imagined dropping as much weight as I did and the things that I achieved I never thought were possible. There’s a lot of hard work to be done achieving these things but having Seb as your trainer has a massive impact physically and mentally. You could not ask for more and I could’t be more appreciative of somebody who dedicated a lot in helping me to improve myself.

I have struggled on and off with my weight for most of my adult life but it really became a big problem when my mobility decreased due to my health. I have osteoarthritis in 6 major joints, lower back pain due to displaced disks, fibromyalgia and was told that I was pre-diabetic with high blood pressure. Quite a list! I thought I was a hopeless case and was looking towards life in a wheelchair as I already use crutches. I asked Seb if he could help as he knew exactly how I managed and I trusted him. He took me on and set my plan in action; giving me nutritional advice which took what I was eating, not just how much I was eating into account. Seb always kept in mind my restrictions and we worked accordingly.
I have lost just under 30 kilograms since June last year. I can move better, my blood pressure is in the normal range and I am no longer pre-diabetic. My mobility has improved and my fibromyalgia is more manageable. There’s been ups and downs but a steady a downward trend which will carry on until I’m where I want to be.

Seb is a phenomenal trainer. His sessions are hard but fun and he sets realistic targets which are achievable but then move on, meaning that you are constantly being challenged but also achieving your goals. Seb got me through Tough Mudder and Survival of the Fittest this year – I would absolutely recommend him.

I started my fitness journey at 108kg which for my height was classed as obese. Through the help of diet and calorie plans as well as personal training sessions and fitness plans with Seb I have lost 28kg! Throughout this journey my mindset has changed and I swapped sitting playing FIFA and being lazy all day to being more active and going to the gym. It has become one of my favourite parts of the day. I was also able to complete my first White Collar Boxing fight in which I fought a very good fight, as well as running my first ever 10km and I also completed my first Tough Mudder which is a 15km obstacle race. Through my own hard work and the massive help of Seb I’ve been able to achieve all of this.

Seb has put together a fantastic gym in Hazel Grove, Stockport. The gym has it all, up to date equipment, a great space perfect for one to one and group sessions and most importantly a great community of amazing people. It’s friendly and fun but also has a competitive edge to it. He trains people of all different levels who support each other, so no matter what level you are at he can cater to your needs. He even trained me when I lived abroad, he put together a 6 week program (training and diet) and supported me with challenges along the way. Every few months Seb will bring people together for a community day whether it’s a few drinks or a family fun day at the gym. You will never feel alone in your journey and you will get the results you want if you follow Seb’s plan.
